Background Checks
Today, more than ever, great expectations are placed upon leaders. Because of being in positions of responsibility and trust their lives are under considerable scrutiny. It is, therefore, essential that leaders are held to high standards of ethics and accountability.
As one means to determine the suitability of both paid and volunteer workers in the church, the PNA provides a background screening service that is available to all of our congregations. Each individual is required to complete and sign a background check permission form. Our office then obtains a criminal background check and submits the results to the church.

NOTE, that effective June 1, 2011 there are some slight changes to the program and a new form is required for all background checks. There is a modest $13.00 charge per search (although each PNA church is entitled to one free search each calendar year). Note, there is no charge for those obtaining a background check for work in a PNA event (i.e. camp, etc.).
